On 12/28/13 I ordered a DVD of the movie "Goodbye, Columbus" for the Video Theater website after finding it by Googling the movie. About 3-4 weeks later I received a package via US Mail from the following address: DV, 3565 Las Vegas Blvd, Las Vegas, NV 89109. The package contained a DVD case with the actual movie packaging, but the DVD was blank on both sides. I e-mailed the company at [email protected] and promptly received a brief unaddressed reply (on 2/03) that told me to try to play on both sides. I replied that I had already tried that, but will try once again. On Feb. 5th I wrote back that it did not work and tjat I would like to exchange it or get a refund. I received no reply, and have not received any replies to the three emails I have subsequently sent. It is clear that they do not intend to provide me with a refund or exchange. I also have been able to find their website again on repeated attempts - its appears to have been shut down. I feel that I am the victim on fraud. I have reported this transaction to Discover, whose credit card I used to purchase the DVD. It is not a great deal of money I have lost, but I do worry that this company has my credit card information and I also worry that they may scam others. If anyone has any thoughts on how I may get my money back, I would be appreciative.
