Receive a phone call from e loan stating I had been approved for $10.000. When I told them I did not apply for an online loan, they said ok we will cancel your request and get rid of your information. They hung up. I called them back and asked them how did they get my info because I did not apply for a loan. He stated we have my name, address, social security number, bank account, routing number and date of birth and was going to release my info to everyone. I then called e loans and they stated they were no longer in the lending business and it was a scam. I called the credit burea and reported it. I then called the number I received the call from and the man told me to quit calling. He then starting curding calling me names with a foreign accent. I told him he was a scam and I had reported them to the credit bureas. I DID NOT release my name nor did I give up any money. The number is 323-786-0169 if you should receive a call. Sagivens
