My Windows 7 computer has network issues, so I ran the ms Network Diagnostics and it created a .etl log file that Microsoft does not include a way to open on the windoz 7 install.

When I clicked the Microsoft provided link to check online for a way to open the .etl file a Microsoft page directed me to another page that promised to provide a way to open the .etl file and strongly advised me to try RegSERVO.

I was very suspicious and my search led me here to read complaints about RegSERVO.

Why did clicking a link on a Microsoft diagnostics tool on my computer lead to a known scam site?

It is possible that this link is hijacked by RegSERVO, aka RegSCAM, to redirect Windows users to this lethal group of Internet leaches.

Microsoft also has been reneging on customer support for its poorly designed Windoz products, that cause more headaches than a few.

The entire Microsoft empire is an easy target because it is too poorly made to protect itself from thieves. Both Apple and Linux OSs are nearly immune to break in by thieves, but Microsoft has far better and forceful sales agents and arm-twisting tactics to force their faulty Windowz OS onto the whole world.

Wish Microsoft would go away so Linux and other honest OS systems could work with what programmers now produce for Windoz.
