I placed a pre-order with Evolution Cards & Comics, or Evogamingstore, through the Square Marketplace on 11 October 2013 for the MTG Commander 2013 (set of 5) pre-constructed decks ($139.99), which were released on 1 November 2013. I received both my receipt and shipping manifest immediately after purchase; however, since my order contained a pre-order item the product would ship on it's street release date.

1 November comes and I neither receive my shipping details on that day nor during that weekend. I use the email from which I received my receipt and report this to the company on 4 November. I receive a reply from EVO on the 6th stating that they had only received half of their intended product from the distributor and that the rest of their product was to be obtained within 7-10 days. So I waited. Unfortunately and very frustratingly, this would be my first and only correspondence from EVO. Ever since, they have dodged my every attempt at correspondence. 15 additional emails -- not one reply. Over 440 telephonings -- not a single answer; in fact, whether the business is opened or closed the same message is played (I believe they purposefully have their telephone disconnected). 17 voicemails -- never a single callback. The owner did not issue my refund when I sent him priority mail with return receipt ($11.60), which he received on 30 January 2014. I even went so far as to attempt to contact the store and the owner's son via their Facebook pages -- no luck.

Since this date, 17 February 2014, I have not heard from the company and they still have yet to return to me my refund. I have contacted Square, who refused to help me without subpoena; the Better Business Bureau, which EVO completely ignored; the Federal Trade Commission; the Pennsylvania Office of the Attorney General (Kathleen Kane); the Internet Crime Complaint Center (IC3); the National White Collar Crime Center (NW3C); my township police department; and the Elk Grove Police Department. Now, I am turning to Scambook for help. Lastly, I will address the F.B.I. with this matter.
