Alright, so I got some work for this guy who is a plumber, Josh Devereaux, Washing Plumbing LLC (253) 508-1750. I worked my absolute butt of for this guy trying to get on.
I worked Tues, (5-6 hours) Wends (9 over hours and Thur (8-9 hours) that's 23 hours. Drive time was a lot more hours, I was leaving at 6am getting home at 6pm, because we had to drive to the jobs, did that mostly Tues, gone all day again and only did 5 hours real work. I was late on rent and needed the money bad.
I told him the first day that I needed 80, he said no problem, didn't get it, said a couple days, rent collected an 80 late fee, like I told him it would if he didn't pay me on time. Well I worked 23 hours and got paid 140 dollars (my expenses were about 40 in gas). First he said that I stood around with my hands in my pockets, which is not true because I think I actually did most of the work, all the dirty work in the crawl space. Then he said when I called bs on that, that I only worked 11 hours, and the rest we drove, not true because wend Thur was just the same job, so only had to get their and back. So he got me on a lot of money that he refused to pay me, for one reason after the other, that was just not true!
The second part to this, if only him ripping off his worker was enough, is that he ripps the customer off too! On one job we fixed 1 leak, he told the customer it was 4, (I am witness to this because I helped the 1 leak, and was their when he told the customer it was 4)! Their was another leak so he told the customer that he needed a whole new re-pipe (that's re piping the whole house with new pipe). I did the math on the bid and it was 2920, not including the repair, and the extra work that came along with it. If that was bad enough, he was telling people how he got his customer for over 800 dollars in materials (I am witness to this). We piped the house/buisness so that it did something like run ot the water heater first, meaning that if u turn off the hot water heater you cannot get water to the ret of th house. Sure enough after the water was turned on the hot water heater (that looked brand spanking new) started leaking (and I am just a plumber in training but I have an idea that the way it was installed (the piping) that the water heater has too much water pressure going into it, I think) anyways the customer was suspicious about that (which everyone should be about everything that he does), then Josh explained to me and another guy that we did it the lazy way, and he hoped that the customer didn't "catch onto anything."
So anyways he ripped me off, and every customer he had. I don't know what he thinks, maybe that I will just get ripped off and keep my mouth shut about how he conducts a fraud business, or rips off his customers and workers, but I occurred that 80 late fee,and cannot pay rent, and me and my family and 4 year old is probably going to get evicted because I decided to work for him instead of someone else. his number is (253) 508-1750. card says Don't get soaked," but you will if you hire this guy! Another quote I remember him saying that was messed up was "Don't do too much of a good job, because we can make money coming back out here and repairing it," so he does a really bad job so he can make even more money repairing his own work, sand say it was something else! WOWEEWOW !
You just don't get much worse than that! So he made off with over 3k, paid me 140 - the gas - giving another employee rides to work and home - lunches (he paid for 1 cheap lunch) - pain and suffering and making the world and plumbers worse in my eyes - my conscious. And I am pretty sure that I did a great deal of the work, that did not have to be done.
