I placed an order for their "free" trial of Garcina Cambogia Extract and paid less than $5 for shipping. I called Thrive Nutra before the trial ended to cancel my enrollment and prevent the reoccurring credit card charges. The Thrive Nutra rep said she closed my account and I would not be charged. On 1/28/14 I received a letter stating that they were unable to charge my credit card $89.16 for the product I received. The payment is now overdue. Failure to pay the balance may result in further collection efforts. I called their 877-712-9210 number and spoke to a rep who confirmed that my account was closed but I was charged $89.16 for the use of their product during the 14 day free trail. That doesn't sound like any FREE trial to me. She offered me the chance to pay $29.99 to avoid further collection efforts. I told her I'm not paying them anything for a FREE trail that I cancelled within the 14 day trial period. She said she couldn't help me any further and we ended the call. She also refused to provide me her last name when I asked. She said they were not allowed to give that out.
