Lancashire Interior Home Design are terrible.

Upon searching for solid hardwood kitchens I was initally pleased to find that Lancashire Interior Home Design were the cheapest.

Kitchen was delivered at my home address - the driver refused to unload it until full cash payment was given.

Upon checking the units I was not satisfied with my purchase at all.

The quality of the units are not as good as described on their website. It is not solid oak wood either rather it is "box wood". Furthermore the hinges, handles and legs are flimsy, the wood within the units does not have the weight and feel of solid oak - it all feels very light.

"But, if you want the real thing, 'a real solid oak cabinet' then we have the cabinet for you.

I needed my kitchen to be fitted asap so I immediately went to Wickes, they had a sale and their solid wood kitchen ended up being virtually the same price.

I immediately contacted Lancashire Design on the basis that I was not satisfied with my purchase and that I wanted a refund. I spoke to Rebecca - Complaints Manager / Customer Services.

Rebecca was very rude. She does not know how to be professional and manipulates the conversation on the phone by stating "You can;t have a refund simply because you changed your mind which is what you said on this recorded line".

Actually Rebecca: I am entitled to a refund if goods do not conform to the contract (are faulty) and I can reject them soon after you have bought them.

Lancashire Design are cowboys, they take your cash and have zero customer service.

They should refamilarise themselves with:
Distance Selling Regulations and Sale of Goods Act 1979 (as amended) and Sale and Supply of Goods to Consumers Regulations 2002.
