I went to this website, which offered an opportunity to look up a person (who owed me money) and see his criminal record, if any. It was $1 if you didn't want to sign up for the monthly subscription. I gave my credit card information for this one time use of the service. I just noticed, 1 month later, on my credit card there are several additional charges made by this company. I didn't know what they were for. I called the company and was told that I had been notified at the time I gave my credit card information that I could cancel within 5 days, otherwise I'd be getting a monthly charge to the card in exchange for using their services. I remembered no such 5-day-to-cancel clause. I would like to get my money back. This feels like a rip off, being charged for something I don't want and did not use.
