I received a call from a gentleman saying he was from Microsoft Customer Support. He told me that they had received a report saying that my computer performance was very slow. I acknowledged thst it was. I questioned several times the authenticity of his connection to Microsoft. He kept reassuring me that he was legitimate. He needed my credit card info to charge $84.99. I received a receipt but I later noticed that while they had access to my computer, they generated an acknowledgement from me that said I had agreed to the terms and conditions on their website that does not exist. I called the number that I had and asked for a refund and was told that someone would have to call me back. I tried to access the online support and email address but both are nonexistent.
