Palmco representative switched themselves as my 3rd party power supplier without my or my husband's authorization, speaking to my mother at my home then stating that she signed a contract (though she did not, she referred the rep. to speak with us upon our return from vacation) then stated that anyone in the residence over 18 yrs old can consent to the change. They then overcharged me for the last 12 months on my utilities--totaling $1683.36 for the last 13 months over the prices that I would have been charged by PSE&G if they never switched me. It partially my fault for not checking my bills--too trusting, and I just kept paying the bills until it became overwhelmingly overcharged--that's when I really researched the bills. I called them directly and they tried to insult me by offering a $50.00 credit--really, totally dismissing the fact that they had no signature from me nor my husband and that the signature they have on the contract is not valid as my mother who spoke with the solicitor did not sign anything----leads me to believe they have employees who falsify signatures---waiting to prove this as still waiting for copy of the contract from them. The customer service reps refuse to provide information on a supervisor over themselves and they clearly cannot address the issue---they can not get/understand that they did not have a valid authorization to switch providers. I further researched this company and saw that they have many reported complaints of questionable recruiting tactics, and they totally did not want to entertain this.
