My story is the same one told over and over regarding this company. I filled in a customer survey on Amazon.com and was offered my choice of a free gift (redundant, I know). I chose AuraVie skin cream. I should have backed out when I learned that "free" didn't include shipping and handling,but the charge was nominal. I was flipped over from Amazon's site to AuraVie's and entered my credit card info. I did receive the "gift", but days later, a $97.88 charge hit my credit card. When I called the company, I was advised that the "free" referred to a free 10 day trial, after which I could either return the product of pay retail. AuraVie claims that all this was detailed on their website; however, I do not remember seeing such a disclaimer, so I'm assuming it was in the fine print. I'm disputing the charge, along with an additional charge made when I was sent ANOTHER "sample" of their product. In addition, a "fishing fee" of $1.93 has appeared on my credit card from this company. I surmise that they are checking to see if I notice this charge, and if not, will continue to charge an ever greater amount until I squeal. I am disappointed in Amazon harboring such trash on what I have always considered to be a trusted website, and I'm disappointed in myself for falling for such a scam. But I save my strongest venom for the dirtbags at AuraVie.
