I saw an ad online for a free trial of Garcinia Cambogia just pay 2.95 shipping and handling. I thought, why not try it? I was told the product would arrive in a couple of weeks. I live in Alaska, so it's not uncommon for stuff to take a little longer to come in the mail. After about a month I called to inquire about my order. After checking my bank statement, they had already charged my account $150. An awful lot for a "free trial" that I had not even received. I called to complain about them charging my card when I had not even received their product. I knew something was very off. I told the lady, after waiting so long and being charged with nothing to show for it, I did not want to give them my business and no longer wanted their product. I was told by their customer service rep who spoke very broken English, that if I wanted a refund I would have to wait for the parcel to arrive and PAY to return it to them. I thought this was utterly ridiculous but after going back and forth with this lady to no avail, I hung up the phone. A few weeks later still nothing. I called again and this time was given a tracking number. After I hung up, I immediately looked up the tracking number and it said the product had been delivered somewhere in Utah. I called them back and talked to a man, he too spoke very broken English. I asked to speak with a supervisor and after arguing with this man for at least 15 minutes I was transferred to another man who said his name was John, fortunately he did speak English. He checked the tracking number and confirmed that my package had been undeliverable and sent back to them. He told me that I would be issued a refund and it would take about 7 days. Feeling like I finally got somewhere with these people, I hung up. I checked my account every couple of days and nothing. I waited and waited before finally calling them back. I was then told it could take up to thirty days to post to my account. Again I waited, still nothing. I called them again about a week ago and was told that I would be contacted by a supervisor within 48 hours. No call ever came. I called them again today and there was a message saying I needed to call back during business hours even though the time I called should have been within business hours. I ordered this product back in September, it is now January and I have still not received the refund promised to me, even though they confirmed I never received their product. There is no way this is a legit business!! I don't know if I will ever get my money back, but it isn't going to stop me from trying, even though every time I call it takes at least 15 to 20 minutes for someone to even answer the phone. I guess in the end it is an expensive and time consuming lesson learned, but hopefully this post will keep people from making the same mistake I did.
