We where is Tenerife in March we where approached by a person giving out scratch cards,
They wanted us to do it there and then and I had won a holiday she asked us if go to go and redeem it there and then
We went with her to the company office just a short walk away, that’s where we met a rep from relaxed salutations
We where talked in to buying a program on a cd that would give us access to holiday accommodation from £99 to £110 per week. They made it sound very good
We where then told how much it would cost 16k went down to 8k with £1000 cash deposit , that we would have for life and be able to pass on to our kids
So we paid the deposit and had to pay the rest when we returned to the UK
After a bad night sleep I tried to find any info on the internet at the hotel about there company, when I couldn’t we went back to say that we where not sure about paying that sort of money for a company we could not check on
So after again a long time (5 hours ) with the rep and the person who actually owned the company and with them showing us all sorts of accommodations on line we where again say yes
They told us to install the CD when we got home and give it a try, this we did with a code from them that only worked for two day, we could not find any of the accommodation that they had show us.
I contacted them on there UK number only to be told that we had to pay the balance before we could have our own code
Then a month later we received a letter say that we had to pay the balance or send the CD back with the seal in tacked, this of course we could not do as they had told us to use it .
So we sent the CD back with a letter informing them that we no longer wanted to have anything further to do with there company , only then to have the CD returned to us a month or so later
After returning to the UK we have found information about there company and of course it was not good.
we now have a Collections Department
Guardian Recovery Limited trying to get the money from us
