We just received a check in the mail for $2950 from MIT Press Journals with an email memo from [email protected] saying we needed to email him for activation of the check. The package came from an extremely urgent UPS next day air worldwide express package. The reference # on the package is 350815 and return address is from Jody Tucker at 948 Lake Drive in Midway Georgia. Zip is listed as 31320. Phone is 770-912-6150. It came to our home address in Butte, Montana. We have several ads on Craigslist and assume this scam came from those ads.
