Wornall Heights. Not bad when we first moved in, but horrible now. Martin showed us the place and the first time we had an issue with the water heater; he was on top of it the same night. Well, since then, we have not seen him around, though I have asked for him on numerous occasions as he was the person I dealt with initially. I have now only been able to speak with a Brenda and Brandy(still not clear as to who my actual property manager is; as both tell me that they aren't) and all they can tell me is that a worker will be out sometime; no time frame and very flippant answers. I have seen have a dozen different people working on the buildings in the 2+ years I've lived here, so I'm less than thrilled when they tell me they have keys and we don't have to be there when the work is done; I just don't trust it. First, a sexual assault that wasn't reported to the surrounding residents followed by a break in at the same building. Then, my car gets broken into, I report it to the office, no response. Then, my next door neighbor gets her door crow barred open and the only way I find out is when she knocked and asked if we heard anything. When I contacted Brandy, she acted flip and put out by my calls about giving out notices about break ins; yet the next day there were notes on the door about poop in the grass.....clearly more important than safety of the residence. Now, water leaking into my place and soaking our carpet causing a pungent mildew smell, 1 worker comes out on Saturday, diagnoses the problem and shuts our hot water off in the kitchen to fix it. Well, it's Wednesday and they still haven't been back and give us excuses(like needing to clear the parking lots of snow and ice, yet ours has gone unplowed for the last 3 snows and has caused me and other residents to go sliding into Wornall RD, can't deny it, I have the photos to prove it) as to why it will be delayed another day and tell us not to worry since they have keys to get in whenever. I don't know about you, but I want to be here when some random person is in my place working. This is getting beyond ridiculous and is forcing us to reevaluate our living situation.The only saving grace is the cheap rent for its size; which is only worth it if you do not care about your safety and living conditions. 2 and half years paying our bills on time, every time(even then they sent us a notice of not paying, right after they cashed our check), we get the shaft....Now, we have missed 4 shifts from work trying to insure one of us is home when the work is being done. Thanks for the wonderful customer service. I even pick up trash in our lot when it gets thrown around, shovel snow for other neighbors and have even recommended people move in(before all the issues), now we will be exploring other options.
