I received pop up whilst ordering christmas presents on Amazon -informing me of free gift ( choice of 3, slimming tabs, beauty serum or £50 gift card - last offer already gone!!!) All I had to do was pay postage & packaging Chose serum , received sample a few days later and just after that felt slightly dubious because the sample came with no supplier details. Luckily I googled the product and lo and behold - found out it was a scam. I rang my bank who confirmed they already knew of the scam and would put a stop on any attempts to extract money from my account. They still managed to take £84.71 on 11 Dec and £89.66 on 27 December. Immediately after each transaction, I alerted my bank and they refunded the money. Thank you everyone for your advice and my advice is -If you have been conned Ring your bank immediately and they will take action to recover any monies illegally taken from your account. Also please, please persist in cancelling the subscription you unwittingly went into by telephoning Company UK 0808 189 0369,
ROW 44 808 189 0369 - The only way you can cancel is by telephone which is ludicrous because I emailed them on 5 occasions on 4 December, one week prior to 1st big transaction - crooks through and through!!
