I recently recevied 2 fraudulent "Impulse #6000" charges on my credit card from GameStop. I know this because my credit card company provided me with the phone number associated with the fraudulent charges. I was able to cancel my credit card in time, but still a major inconvenience to reset all my existing auto payments. I called GameStop to inquire why this happened and why there are similar stories all over the internet and the customer service rep was very unprofessional and completely unhelpful (I almost laughed out loud when she asked me to provide her with my credit card number). I will never do business with this company again. Since I don't purchase video games this should'nt be too hard. I hope the continued negative publicity ultimately damages their bottom line or opens the eyes of the decision makers who clearly have lost control of their collection system and e-commerce safeguards.
