I had a similar scenario as the others, only, mine was a bit scary. A young AA man and his "sister" knocked at my door and gave me the pitch. I am in a wheelchair and couldn't stand there holding the door so they proceeded to hold the door, and I was caught off guard enough that before I knew it, they were in my apartment with the door closed behind them. With one on each side of me, I was so uncomfortable, I picked something off their list and wrote a check. I will almost guarantee there would've been aggression had I not. I immediately called my bank and put a stop on the check, but the bank stopped the wrong check. The check cleared and 3 months later, I've received nothing.
