Dear Sir,
During our usual searches for new glass manufacturer in China, we came across a company called " Oruii Mirror Corp. Ltd." which is registered in Hong Kong SAR but claims to be located in Qingdao, and after many exchanged emails & phone conversations with their G.M. they sent us a price-list for some types of glass and after comparing with other prices in hands, we found their prices very competitive.
We transferred them a deposit of USD10,000.00 (ten thousands USD) and then they will ship the glass . We normally pay 20~30% in advance, and the balance against a copy of B/L.
After transferring the above deposit, he didn't answer any phone call. Only on Tuesday 15/09/2009 at 05:00 p.m. China time, he was driving (because I hear the traffic noise) and when I told him my name he spoke in a local language and then he remained silent, despite I kept hearing the traffic noise!
According to our bank, they have already received our payment USD10000.00 already.
We hired a lawyer in mainland China, the lawyer talked with the seller many times, even threatened to report to police, they did not step back.
