I was travelling abroad and needed, an unlocked phone. I checked on Craiglist, OKC and found in iPhone listed there that I liked. Below is the correspondence regarding this transaction in chronological order. It is distressing to see on the web that, I am not the first victim and, most likely not the last one. The sad outcome is suspicion and luck of trust. How sad for our society!

I'll have to send it from here. I have found a company called Collect Plus that will deliver the iphone to you in the US and allow you to check the iphone before I receive the payment. You will be in control of your money and I will be in control of my iphone.

I am getting very concerned that I have not yet received the iPhone for which I paid $227.00 ($200 for phone $27.00 Western Union fees) over a week ago. And, I have no information at all on what is going on. This is the first time I am dealing with Collect Plus. I am sorry to say my excitement is turning quickly to disillusionment. The agreement was that Collect Plus will deliver the phone to me at the address I provided on Nov. 20th around 1:00 pm. That has not been done up till now. I hope you would resolve the situation asap. Thank you.
