My name is Edwin A. Williams, (Personal Information Removed). In December of 2010, I purchased a swimming pool heat pump from this company for approximately $3000. and it was warrantied for 10 years. The heat pump was installed by the company at my residence. It worked properly through May of 2011, when I turned it off for the season. On October 22, 2011, I turned the pump back on for the new season and although it started up and the fan worked, it has failed to this point to heat the water to any degree. It simply does not raise the water temperature at all, even though the pool is covered with a solar blanket.
I contacted Suretemp for help. There phones are disconnected. I have the cell phone number of the company principal, Bradley Hopper and I called him. He answered and seemed surprised that I had his number, and when I told him my problem, he said I had to run the pump continuously for 24 hours with the solar blanket on the pool at start-up each season. He assured me that would solve the problem. It did not. I have repeatedly tried to contact Mr. Hopper several times (a total of 14 times) during the past two days and I have left him several messages on his voice mail. All to no avail. It is apparent that he does not want to talk to me and it appears that I am stuck with a product with a warranty from a company that is defunct and that I have no recourse. I need assistance.
