SCAMS in Michigan senior citizens watch out, I just had an insurance agent Andrew Briggs come to my home and he reviewed my annuities. He asked me to surrender my contract place the funds into my checking account and to call him when I got the check. I called my existing company to see if this was a correct procedure. Customer service told me he is not doing this correct and I would be taxed, and I needed to use a 1035. Im not sure if anyone else has had this happen to them, but watch out something is not right. Ill keep you posted with what I find out.
