They phoned me, knowing I was interested in a grant for home repairs. Said that for a small fee that they would search for available grants, and would mail the research packet. After basic instructions for writing proposals, they would schedule coaching sessions for making the applications. Also, that the grant would include funds to repay the credit account, and that if the proposals yielded no grants, that they would refund the money.
Their "contract" specified no date by which to provide the service and gave three days to mail a cancellation notice. (For these two reasons, the fraud division of my credit company said they could do nothing).
