My boyfriend and I saw Matt's add on Craig's list. He was advertising for a partiner. We went and met wth Mattt, didcussed contract and LLC. After the money was wired from my account Matt started to avoid us. He pulled out of the 2 malls he had a signed contract with. To make a long story short.... We have never seen a penny of the money he owes us including the $5,000 he tolk from us under false pretenses. We filed civil and criminal charges. We recived a call from the investigating offfice and he told us the Prosecutor doesn't want to prosecute this case. We were so devistated to hear that this guy is going to continue to take advantage of good people like use with No consequences. He is already on Craigs list and Facebook advertising for partners for a pizza business now. Please help us seek justice. Sincerely, Roxanne Powell

  • I agree 110 percent Roxanne. I had just recently met Matt and tesha he offered to paint my truck I gave him money up front then he started avoiding me. My wife had a bad feeling about him and I did not listen. I am seeking justice against him as well. I think if everyone Matt has screwed over would ban together we could have him locked up where he belongs. Thanks for posting your story.

  • I fell for the same scam. Matt went AWOL on me after I gave him $5000 to become a partner with him and then he pulled out of the malls we signed contracts for. This happened in 2009 but the police did not care because it was only $5000.

  • WOW!! Why don't you people get a life. I know the real deal because I was there.

    I have been a manager of Mr. Clark's stores and Greg Boyer and Roxanne Powell kept pressuring Matt and being complete dicks to him until Matt said He quit. Then they got pissed off and have been starting trouble ever since. They wanted to even take him to court on tv to judge joe brown and when matt agreed they told him they would go to the court and let them know but they made it look like matt was a no show to get a quick judgements. They are some real rednecks wanting something for nothing.

    Then Eric Jackson wanted to stalk Matt like he was in love with him and Matt said he would paint his vehicle for 300 dollars and even work out payments. Eric gave us 100 dollars and when Matt could not find a place to paint it Matt tried to give him a refund and Eric lost his mind and started wanting 500 bucks instead of the 100 he had given. If you are going to tell it, tell it like it is Eric.

    And as far as Michelle Peet. We at the shop removed graphics, replaced the drivers and passengers fenders, replaced the rear bumper, designed new graphics, sanded the whole car, had to clean the interior windows because she had spray painted them and then had started tinteing the windows when she lost her mind because of the BS stories you all have posted and wanted her car back. The jeep was scheduled to be painted the next day. Tesha even offered a 1000 dollar refund but the woman kept wanting to raise the numbers.

    It is crazy how all of you post these BS ads like they are running or something.

    And as far as Dwayne Murray I met you too. I worked for the mall that you never showed up at from July2009 to May of 2010. You came in promising how you were going to help him and bring in all this stuff and you never did. All of us that worked there no you stuck Matt with all the work. You kept saying how you were going to bring your cousins to help and nothing ever happened.

    Look at the economy. Businesses are a gamble; POINT BLANK!! There is nothing guaranteed and no such thing as a get rich quick over night scenario.

    That is not the issue and u know it. U promised gave me ur word that u had booth rented and would spend all day painting one saturday and then the night before u emailed me and blew me off. Then u said dec 12 and 13 and blew me off again. I even offered to pay u money every month until the job was paid off.   • The only thing you didn't see was how in face to face visits, Eric was completely obsessed with Matt like a stalker. I am unsure of the reason. But in the last sentence it looks like Boyer had been putting mis info in his head. Maybe that is what started it. I had personally told Eric we were too busy to do the truck because of the Christmas season and Eric was constantly tagging Matt on facebook so Matt just deleted him. Read the emails for yourself. He offered him a refund but he never gave an address to send it to.

  • You wait just a minute let me tell it like it really is since you want to say you guys done so much to my jeep when you didn't! Ok people yes they sanded my jeep with sand paper that my 3 year old did it wasn't even sanded correctly the vinyl graphics they got off half ass, the fenders they did take the old ones off but guess what they screwed in the new ones with one screw. The bumper HELLO was not even screwed in. I gave them my jeep and $1600 on Feb 14 2012 they told me 2 weeks. The following day I had asked about my windows being tinted when I bought my jeep the person before me sprayed them black bc of the massive system that was in the rear. Matt Clark told me it would be $275 from a mobile tint man and it would be done in 2 days and took the money to them. I kept going to greenville mall where they were working out of and my jeep kept sitting in the parking lot. I rolled up one day and they had this guy named Gary out there "sanding" the jeep and changing the car pieces. I have lambo doors well he let them fall down to hard and made them go off track my doors were left unlocked with a cd player left inside, thank goodness it was not a great one and wasn't stolen. Hell one day I rolled up there and they had some persons mustang hood in my jeep along with all there trash. I was lucky though bc I had taken out all the seats so they couldn't drive my vehicle like they did others that we did see. We continued to drive by each day to see what was being done and nothing each day was done. Then one night as we sat in the parking lot looking at my jeep 2 or 3 days before we were suppose to get it back we text Matt to see where he was on the jeep he tells us that the jeep is ready for paint and the windows are tinted they were not and we were sitting right next to it. We let him know that we knew different and that we were right beside it. The next day when I came to ck on the jeep it was gone. They would not tell me where it was. Kept saying it will be done

  • That other girl screwed us out of money and we put a sign up saying we would not work for them and they got pissed off and started contacting our customers and your boy friends on words said you were paranoid and crazy as hell and we have the texts from him to prove it. You fell for their deceipt. You could have had a nice looking jeep if we had finished it. Labor and materials were more than you paid.

You guys all of you have my phone number and my boyfriends phone number we text you guys every now and again to make sure you know WE HAVE NOT FORGOTTEN WHAT YOU DID! Also Matt has my email address bc I still have the emails he sent me with saying when he would have it done, how much it would cost and also saying it would be a mobile tint person. So you guys now how to contact someone.If you really want to give me my money back you can get my email from Matt or you all know our names look Adam up on facebook and send it to him. Bad thing is you got $1875 from me I even went as low as $1000 to try to get some money back I think $875 was way over the amount you guys should get. If you are for real send it to my email like I said Matt has it, or send it threw text bc all of you have mine and Adams ph #s, or send it threw facebook to Adam. Don't try to send it to me bc all of you are blocked on mine. Would be nice to get some sort of refund but its been since March 6th that I got my Jeep back you guys have said over and over you would get me my money and I have yet to see it! Get me my money and ill be glad to post all over that I got a refund from you guys!

The last thing I knew they were living in Greenville their address was 115 woodlawn drive greenville nc but once they got kicked out of the mall I don't know what happened. When they were here they were doing the airbrushing, painting and trying to do some movie.

    Preston has the pizza places and not me. I am just working and have no desire to work for myself at all.

I have 20 vehicles painted in greenville, and kinston now and there are only two unhappy people; you, because you didn't let it get finished and Matt rouse because they were too paranoid to leave it to get buffed. You were even contacting Jeremy saying that his car wouldn't get painted and he is happy. Alfred is happy. Choke is happy. Lexus is happy. Algier is happy. aaliyah is happy. and several others. We document what is done and whatever you guys decided on the refund was between you all. She even went to the police dept to ask what should she do and they said she can't work for free. That is between y'all. Leave my name out of it. I have went my way and wish her the best. Preston is doing his pizza thing and I wish him the best. From people that invested in you and your "business opportunity" to those that entrusted you with their vehicles. One way or another, once you get their money, the lies begin. "I'll be here, I'll be there, one more day etc", your wife running interference for you. The story is always the same....always. From coast to coast. You live off of other people's money and then you pack up in the middle of the night and move out of business locations, leaving your partners (investors) holding the bag. That is the truth and you know it. Don't you dare blame someone else for your failure. You have the talent and they have the money but inevitably the business fails. What was the common denominator in ALL those failed businesses, from CA to the East Coast? All bad business partners (investors)?? I don't think so.

  • CA was great. The economy is just bad on the east coast. That is why I would rather work for someone else. Times are too hard right now. Even when times are great businesses are a gamble. But there is no such thing as a get rich quick business at all. It takes hard work and a great location. Plus at least working for someone else you can have benefits.     the answer is 100% yes! The postings can never be verified as authentic because anyone can anonymously post negative comments about your business on this site. Why? A competitor, someone who doesn't like you, cyber bullies/terrorists, SEO companies trying to milk you for money by promising to reduce the impact of the negative posting. I can think of more reasons for the postings to be fake than to be real. The biggest reason that comes to mind is the way scam-shield website operates. They CHARGE you money to remove the negative postings! So it would be easy for them to create postings or even duplicate postings from other sites in order to bait you in to pay their fees to have the postings removed. Even if you can prove in a court of law that the postings are slanderous they are protected by a consumer freedom of information act. One day, they will mess with the wrong person and they will suffer the consequences of their actions if someone who works with the company will come forward and blow the whistle. Someone there knows what these people are doing to blackmail honest small business owners.

Thereafter, they put complaints under businesses name without investigating the matter. For the business to get the information off, Scambook ask the business for money to take the complaint off. They sent us an e-mail in writing stating this, they want to blackmail our company to , pay or they leave the information up.     Hi scambook.com is fake they not only ask you for money to remove the complaint, also the owners are unhappy costumers from some adult affiliate program that kick them out after they were found cheating them. So now they start to run a campaign of complaints against that affiliate network spreading untrusted words generated by them self with fictitious "pissed costumers".     Not true, they are still charging people to remove negative comments about their business. They are stealing posts from other websites to create content and farm you in to pay their fees to remove the posts. In our case the post is completely false. The person posting put our business number on the post and said it was not a valid number which it is and anyone can call it to verify but they will not remove the posting without payment. This company is scamming honest businesses. The posts are not authentic.

  • I am too a victim as an investor. But hey if he is able to still from a city can't be that surprise that he got me also. Jeeplover we all know Matt is a liar and a scammer. No need to go back and forth with him. We all know what the truth is. And you arent the only one who gave him a vehicle and he messed it up. Same thing happened to a military man. Tried to warn him but Matt was able to convince him then he called me upset stating how his car was ruined. I told him I tried to tell you. Hopefully the world spreads. Hmmm. Will have to look into seeing how much a billboard would cost to have him and his wife's picture up there warning people about them. Definitely need to investigate that.

Blackman quit a business and couldn't do anything in GA so now he is going to a state that no incident occurred and try to start trouble? Good Luck with that. And Navy Sub. The guy quit a business with you and you took out civil papers because they couldn't find anything criminal and now you are starting stuff too. You guys have no life at all. If you call a probation officer or keep harrassing the officials you are going to loose your credibility. It seems like you guys are desparate.

  • I took the liberty of calling the Senators office and they had the "What do you want us to do?" attitude, because they said it has to go through the legal system that starts with the magistrate.

    So I called the magistrate. The magistrate said the GA situation is a GA situation and the Navy Sub situation was a civil matter.

    You people get on these sites and rant and rave over nothing.

    When someone has not broken the law how are you going to have them arrested? And if you did get them arrested it would probably get dismissed before you got a conviction.

    You guys must not work and just have too much time on your hand.

  • I gave Matt $5000 and pretty much never heard from him again. He wanted to open a airbrushing business with me and I gave him $5000 to be a partner in the business. ($5000 I borrowed from my Mom and am still paying her back for)

    After I gave him the check, I pretty much never heard from him again.

    I have no knowledge of any of the other complaints being posted on here. However, based on my experience with Matt, I would not recommend doing business with him.

  • I can understand someone like you Jonathan saying not to do business with him and posting your concerns. The way you have talked you do come across as a person with sense.

    The others just come across as a lynch mob looking for excuses to cover their bad mistakes. I mean you have a guy that calls himself blakman that said in one of his post he quit the business and then wants money. Money for what?

    then the navy sub guy acting like a superspy when the guy they are talking about said he was in the same spot. It don't seem like he is hiding.

    Then I don't know if the MBwaves guys knows them but he said they are broke and don't have anything so how would they pay?

    You have the jeep person saying he is responsible but yet you cannot hold anyone responsible but the owner or the corporation.

    Then in the corespondance from eric he did try to give the guy his money back but it was not good enough.

    Sometimes it is best to warn others of concerns and learn from personal lessons.

    If the guy is not working for himself and has no money then it seems as if the bloggers accomplished their goals.

  • Wow a lot has been said while I have been gone. I am glad you see it from my point of view and everyone else that supports him. Greg aka Navysub, just keeps spreading crap. Matt didn't even live in the state in 2007 and 2008 but Greg is putting false information up. We made sure we printed out all the texts and emails from Greg and his girl and we went straight to the magistrate and showed them what was going on and they said they would have quit too. As far as Johnathan I have never met him but I do know Matt makes about 350 per week and has a family to take care of and does nothing but stick to himself. If he says he will pay you then he would but he can't pay you lump sum he would have to make payments because he don't have that much to start off. You just need to email him at [email protected]. That is his email address. And he was never a partner in my business. I have just known him for several years. I am so glad Greg put that info up because it proves I am right.

    Smart to keep all of the emails and paperwork though. I have been in the study of law and this is like watching Jerry Springer to me.

    This is a civil matter or either the ones making these accussations were just the dumbest people on the planet. The accusers are basically saying in a public forum that this guy out smarted them and they were too dumb to understand what was going on.

    Even if there is a civil suit and a judgement won; If he does not have anything or his property is below a certain value then there is nothing to collect to regain the money.

    I looked up public records on the name listed above and cross referenced it with the location and this guy doesn't seem to have anything. I wouldn't know for sure unless I had his social.

    But to Navysub; have you googled how many Richard Clarks, Richard M. Clarks, Matt Clarks there really are? 1000's

  • If you have a concern why not just contact Matt or Preston and work it out like a man? That is the only thing that gets me. Court systems are tied up with so much BS as it is and whoever they are just posted their emails online in this forum to try to work out issues with anyone that may have them. If you are Greg Boyer and you have won a judgement on him as the posts seem to point to then you would most likely get your money by trying to be civil and working out a payment. The way that you and the other guy keep acting is not in a way that shows you want a resolution as much as a childish way of bickering. And this is being said to all involved. It takes a bigger man to say "hey lets work something out" than the constant back and forth. I mean it is all up to every party involved but you can either work it out or keep this going on forever.

  • So you are harrassing the mans landlord. That does kind of prove that you have a little OCD and are not looking to solve problems but to cause them.

    You can bother people around the man but don't have the balls to call the man himself.

    Yes I was trying to stay neutral but I believe Mr. Clark allowed you to prove his point for him.

    Mr. Clark or Preston or whoever you are I would suggest that you print this out if you do have a court date to show the outside interference you are receiving along with the harrassment. Make sure you get a civil attorney to represent you and give him these blogs.

    A judge would be happy to see you are making an attempt to open dialogue but when they see that it is a one sided communication along with actions taken out of spite it clearly shows these people are trying to ruin your life and are not looking for any compensation.

  • As late as yesterday, Matt was posting ads on CL for partners in 1) a pizza place (investment unknown, but the rewards were $60,000/mo.) and 2) a restoration business (only a $9000 investment required). However, as soon as I posted the links here, he pulled them down. BUT, as he says and I quote "I never want the headaches of working for myself again". Seriously, he cant help himself.

  • This site is about solutions and not ranting and raving and as I was looking up info on a certain individual this post just showed up on the right hand side of the screen and I just started reading and could not believe the rants that were going on between the two parties. I can tell none of you should be in business for yourself.

    There are different types of Bancruptcy and if you have nothing most of the time you can chapter so you don't pay nothing.

    So you are such good friends with the landlord you know each others passwords or did you slip and forget to log in under a different identity.

    That is besides the point.

    If this guy has been on probation and is down on his knees now that can sometimes humble people.

    The professional way would be to offer an ultimatum. Work something out so you could recover some money based on the means the individual could pay or you will make his life a living Hell like you are doing now. Or you can take a chance that he may file bancruptcy and he never pays a dime.

    If it were truly about compensation then you would want to work out something with an individual to recoop your money. If you approach things with profanity and with a lot of mindless back and forth nothing ever gets resolved.

    Nothing in the conversations show you want things to work out you just want to fight and that is a maybe because you have nothing else to do or you are not intellectual enough to see if you keep on in this manner you will never get your money.

    The gentleman has to be able to work to be able to pay and he has to be able to have a home for his family for the stability to be able to work.

    You guys can do whatever you want but it seems this is not about money but just an attempt to destroy someones life.

    I am sure the landlord has his number and you probably do also and to call and work out a payment arrangement that could be signed in a contract would be the best guarantee you get paid.

Matt jerked this guy so bad, that when he finally found his car it was sitting out in the rain stripped down to the metal...in the godamn rain.

    The guy has said on here to contact him directly but everyone here is just doing the same childish things. None of you have the courage to talk to him and try to see if anything can be reached.

    You say he was extradited from CA then is that the reason that the businesses closed in CA? Not a fault of his and if he had partners then why did they not continue the businesses in his absence? So was it them that closed the businesses?

    i have text you yesterday and called you. You dont have any power Public Works cut the powe off to the house on Wednesday and I text you to meet me at the house yesterday to go over court detail for june 18. I also called you dad and he stated that I will probably see you before you will. I also called the other number that you put on the rental aggreement.
    I will be entering the rental property tomorrow at 1 pm with Fayetteville Police Dept to make sure the property is not abandon. There is no power at the rental until, you all failed to pay your electric bill. I dont care what and who you are running from, but cumberland county sherrif office will catch up with you both.
    I talked to Roaxanne yesterday and told her that she need to contact the Sherrif office and inform them that you are running from the house so that you cant be found. The sherrif office have your warran for the 5,000 dollars that you owe Roaxanne and you will be arrested after 20 days. They will find you, becuase i know where your dad live and i have your contact information that i have passed on to Roxanne and the sherrif office.
    Well I have them out of my rental for non payment for this month. I will be in court on June 18 if they show. The will be arrested on the spot lol.

I think he was scammed in either North or South Carolina. If the reporter is interested in hearing from me I am more then willing. [email protected]. Tried filing a criminal complaint. Said it was a civil matter. However, they were open to one piece of evidence but have to be in the states to present it. Which has been a couple years since I been able to.

  • I spoke with the owner of (There is not Sandills Collision) The company name is Luky's Body and collision at 910-391-5198. I have just spoken with the owner. How irronic they weree kicked out the same time they didnt pay me my rent. I have alos spoken with the manager at BP gas station. Matt is still on probation and I will see to it that he and Preston Roseboro and Tesha Clark get prosecuted. There is no sand hills collision at 910-425-8664

  • Does anyone have current information for them? I am another person in NC that they stole money form. They had my vehicle for 3 months and never touched it. I also showed up at their home to collect my "refund" which was written in the form of an unsigned business check from a broke company in California (verified by bank that they did not have funds available for refund). They had their children give me the check and refused to answer the phone. They have their kids in on the scam!?!?!?!?!? I have over 100 emails back and forth with him and Tesha. I also have a signed hand written note from him promising me my refund. Am very interested in finding out what can be done. Was told by police it was a civil matter and they couldn't do anything to help. Drove 3 hours to drop car off and to get it back untouched after 3 months.
