I recently answered what I thought to be a local ad for a husky puppy in Rochester ny. And of course I had been searching for a new puppy for several weeks now so I jumped on them at first sight. There was no real information on the ad just a picture of one of the pups and to reply for more information. SOO grasping at straws I figured I would take a crack at it. Well I received an email back stating that they were fixed and up to date on shot ect., and that he had a male and a female and to ship them would be 200 for one or 400 for both and that he was actually located in Syracuse. Here is where it got interesting. Well since syracuse is only about 2 hours or so away from me and I had a day off coming up. (Tomorrow in fact) that my husband and I could just run down there and get the puppy ourselves and save money. I told him this and he was so against it. He works all day and has a sick child and he doesn't have time and it just wouldn't be possible for him at all. So still being optimistic I decided fine fine I'll just pay shipping and whatever I'll still have a puppy. Well today I decided while I wait for tomorrow to come that I would send an email to him asking when the puppy would be and when I pay the courier (and I asked for the name of the courier and he avoided the question) and he never responded to me after that. So I didn't get scammed out of my money but very upset that we got all ready for a new puppy and we won't be getting a puppy tomorrow. Heart broken to say the least. :(
