OMG - I applied for an installment loan online and some payday loans. I took none of them. Now I am being called by every Indian person in India. Key to all of this is if they aren't american it is a scam but Autobon has people with american accents calling and threating court action and even claim they could take my license. Really? The caller claimed that he spoke to me at my job and I had agreed to call their in-house attorny. What the hell? I asked him where he called me and spoke with me and he named a hospital I worked at approximately 3 years ago. Even after he was busted he continued to threaten me. I just laughed at him and told me his credibility had gone straight to hell. This was about 6 months ago and lo and behold I got another call from the same guy saying the same thing. What a joke -- I have received calls from Cad Advance America, Advance America Fast Cash USA and more all with Indian accents promising me the world. lol I can't even answer my phone anymore there are so many of them. Came home from work tonight and I had about 10 calls - all with accents - promising me a loan. If it sounds too good to be true - well you know the rest of that. Beware - not worth going online anymore for a loan. Used to be ok to do it years ago but not now.
