I trusted the Profit From Home site due to its' website endorsements by CNN, Forbes, The Today Show, ABC, among others. I shouldn't have. Under the auspices that they were "selecting a premier group of people for "testimonials", I withstood several phone calls with a "Matt" who lived in Utah. When the probing personal finance questions got disturbing, I finally said "I'm not going to give you my credit card #s" to "check my credit limits", etc., I just want to get on with making money, I couldn't care less if I'm in your elite group of testimonials". The once friendly, courteous and chatty Matt gave me a curt response with the # and hung up. I called immediately & got a voice mail. Of course I left a message that I needed to speak with someone to start my business (still unsure of what I was supposed to be doing). Not surprising, my call was never returned. I finally got back online and clicked on the link which took me to another website (www.gogvo.com, 6701 Guada Coma Drive, Schertz Texas 78154, 1 (210) 651-4487), with a parent company named Pure Leverage, http://purelevegage.com/or also www.pureleverage.com). As in previous scenarios. It would cost more money to use gogvo.com or pureleverage.com - still don't understand the difference - to set up my website so that I could finally begin making money. This is where I finally drew the line & started to search the internet to see if the "Profit From Home" company was a scam. Obviously, it is. I should have listened to my family & googled it before losing approximately $400!
I'm really mad - I shouldn't have done it, but with endorsements from Fox News, NBC, CNN, ABC, USA Today, etc. I believed it was legitimate. An expensive lesson to learn.
If anyone knows of a class action lawsuit, please include me. (Personal Information Removed)
