I unfortunately have been stupid, but I would like to avoid or warn people about this website which first seems to be governamental.

I am a Swiss citizen living in Brazil. I needed a new ESTA-visa for me and my wife. We booked a trip to USA scheduled for December 10th, and I was in a hurry due to the proximity of the trip. I searched on Internet ESTA and found "esta-gov.us.com". In fact and I don't know why, I found first the oficial site but, for some unknown reason, it did not open at once. So believer that the second one was oficial too, in a hurry and unfortunately without reading much, I applied the form twice. One for me and one for my wife. I don't know also if it was because of my browser, I could not open some parts, especially the one which asked about being aware of the legal conditions. Anyway, a few minutes later, I realized I had been fooled. Immediately (question of minutes later), I sent to the sales department "[email protected]" several e-mails demanding to cancel the contracted services. Without obtaining answer, the following day, I received the ESTA application Status "authorization been approved" for me and my wife.
Instead paying US$ 28 both, I will pay US$ 177.

I am pissed off not only for the money I lost,but much more for the procedures. They did not answer to any e-mail I sent! They just did it quickly thinking that I would not complain about how stupid I have been. >
