I found a site on the internet for secure payday loans. It turns out that Advance America Cash Advances which I got the email from is operated by YMAX communications. Don Williams is the SeniorLoan Officer. I found out that they have several(many) fingers in many pies. They do lending, dating, cash advances, and many more diverse businesses, none of which are on the BBB site. I found it odd that they would lend me $4000 and only get $125 in interest over a 2 year payback period.Sounds fishy to me. Also they wanted me to go to CVS and get a green point card for $135 to cover the insurance on the loan. why wouldn't they just have that service for people they lend to? It just doesn't sound right. So when I asked them if I could wait until my payday in 10 days to activate my loan. They guy on the phone sounded panicked. Well, we cant do that. Of course not. They are probably no legit, but that is my assessment. I pulled out of that deal before I could get scammed.
