I was conned into moving from Talk-Talk to a company called Time-Talk based in Burnley Lancashire.
They managed to move me without realizing who they really are. They promised either to discuss with Talk-Talk that they I shouldn’t be worried to pay a breakage fee as they said. They convinced me that they will discuss with Talk-Talk to avoid breakage fee or to pay any amount associated with that if they decline their request. I am told to tell them about it if in case Talk-Talk asked me to pay that amount. Accordingly, Talk-Talk asked me to pay the breakage fee and I informed Time Talk to deal with them. Unfortunately, they did nothing and Talk-Talk passed the case to Debt collection. I turned to Time Talk and informed them about the progress of the matter and they told me to pay the amount (£239.08) and present the receipt for refund. In the mean time they over charge me on my monthly bill for the amount of more than (£50.00). I called and asked them why that should happen. Their customer service told me that it was a technical mistake and that they will refund me for both the previous amount and this amount.

Now it has taken more than a month since I began asking them a refund. They are telling me this morning they have credited my account by £189. I need my money to be paid to my bank account and they are promising to do something I didn’t ask and the amount far below they are expected to pay me. They informed me this morning that they will look at my account and make the remaining balance but are not giving me any clue whether they make this payment in to my account or even whether they are making this payment in any specific time frame.

Please can you give me some clue as to how to deal with this kind of people who can jump in to your account and take money and don’t know to say sorry and pay your money back. This is partly what has happened to me, at least regarding the overpayment which they took from me by a previous arrangement of direct debit.
