I received a call saying we were approved for a 1000.00 loan. They told us due to the bad credit that they needed to have a deposit of 200.00 on a green dot money pack paypal card. When we were leaving the store they called right back for the funds. They told us everything went through just fine. We would get a call from the funds dept with verification of our loan. Well they called us ..told us we needed another 200.00 which was for a bank fee and that the funds were frozen. We expressed that this was our rent money that we were using and told us we had no fear that the funds would all be in our account. After waiting what they told us of 20 mins we called back to see what the hold up was..called them scam artists and got very rude with them they said they needed more money which we didnt have to unlock the funds. We told them we were getting in touch with our lawyer and we are suing them . When we called green dot they told us all we can do is call the police file a report and green dot can go after them but we are still out 400.00 and late on and no money for our rent. Possibly kicked out. These people are heartless. It didnt even take them but 2 mins to take ourmoney when they kept telling us that it was frozen. One lat thing we asked for the number to green dot and they gave us a number to one of their buddies telling us to call after 4pm on friday evening.
