I had a call on my mobile from a women with a fake American accent claiming to be from Omni Florida Holidays. She told me that i had won a holiday through a survey i had filled in, which i have no memory of doing. She went through the whole package of prizes and the fees that i would have to pay. She said her name was Rushana McCleary and her ID 9435. She then transferred me to a Travel Co-ordinator who identified himself as: Huey Haynes, ID 7033.
He then started going through all the info again and i advised him that i was at work and could he please email me the details. He sounded rushed and then asked me for the expiry date on my visa card. I told him that i had no intentions of giving him any details of my credit card. He started to get quite aggressive and was saying things like, "if we were dodgy, we would of said you had free air travel" etc. I had to hang up in the end, because he was quite persistent. The more he spoke, the faker his accent became.
They were quite convincing and it worries me that someone will give their credit card details to them.
