This scam starts with the offer of a free reading. If you respond, you get a massive amount of papers including an envelope with a silvery strip. Also you get a bill..for $24 which Joseph V claims he "paid on your behalf" to some psychic who will, as soon as you send the $24, cause winning lottery numbers to appear on this strip. If you do not pay this bill, you will receive, incredibly, another bill WITH A LATE CHARGE. Future letters from the Society threaten a collection agency. I sent everything to the NY Attorney General but have had no response as yet.
