I was sent a notice in the mail with "Personal & Confidential" written on the notice. I called the number provided. I was told that I would get two round trip tix for airfare & hotel worth $1,398. I asked what the catch was, and I was told that there was no catch. I had to show up at a hotel, Holiday Inn, for a presentation. 1st of all, they overbooked. I guess they wanted as much people there as possible. Anyway, we were given 2 vouchers. One was for the airfare, and the other was for hotel. For the airfare, we had to pay $35 to reserve the offer for a year, and another $70 to mail in our voucher. For the hotel, there was a $25 & a $50 fee. The card mentioned that we would receive our tix within 15 days. As soon as I saw that they were asking for money, I saw the red flag, and that's when I decided to do the research. Does it make sense to pay $180, in total, for something that is supposed to be free? I told hubby that it was too good to be true.
