On this date the 18th November, 2013, I went on the net to search for flights from Harare to Edinburgh. I searched on other websites, until I was moved on to a sight under Cheapairflights.com, which had flights available for my favourite flight carrier (KLM Dutch Airline).

On this site there was information indicating that, they had only five seats available.

I supplied them with the relevant details of my travelling and particulars as requested on the system until I got to the stage of making a payment as requested.

They gave me what they called was a flight order number #52849 and that they had made a reservation for 48 hours awaiting payment as they could not accept my Barclays (Zimbabwe) visa debit card, due to high volume of fraud cases in Africa.

However, they suggested that, there was another alternative of paying for my flight ticket. This was by making a telegraphic Money Transfer, using the same account from which I had initially intended to pay and they would send me details of their by e-mail and supply me with payment instructions.

On the payment instructions attached they indicated the the particulars of recipient and the company and that this transaction was to be made exactly as given on instructions.

I went to my bank Barclays Bank to make a telegraphic money transfer as instructed and expected to receive my e-tickets, 12 hours after confirmation of Bank transfer and payment by my bank into their account as indicated on their letter by e-mail.

When I went to my Bank the following day, to confirm if telegraphic transfer had been effected and when it was so,I e-mail Cheapairflights.com, to issue tickets for my flight to Edinburgh they started dilly darling while assuring that the tickets will be issued in time before my flight but with no joy.

I went to check with the airline and they told me my name was not on the flight list and reaching them by telephone proved impossible as both UK line (0044)20 3289 0682 and Warsaw, Poland line (0048)22 219 7094 automatically went to voice mail to leave a voice message.

This has resulted in me suffering a loss in money totalling to USD1020.44 and might even cost me my job in UK due to the inconvenience caused.
