In seeking a good deal to renew my subscription to my local newspaper, I came across DiscountedNewspapers.com. I checked them out and found a few complaints but not enough to warrant great concern. I signed up and paid for a renewal of my current subscription.
.
A couple of weeks later I started receiving notices from my newspaper that my subscription was about to expire. I told them I had renewed and provided the confirmation information from DiscountedNewspapers.com. The notices continued coming.
.
I contacted DiscountedNewspapers.com and they informed me that "Our offers are for new subscribers at new address only. The delivery address must be inactive for a set period of time or the newspaper will not process the order." NO WHERE on their website does it clearly state this information.
.
I double checked their site and now (several weeks later) all of their prices are different. This smacks of a scam and I will be contacting my credit card company to quash payment.
