My husband and I attended a travel presentation in which we were promised 2 airline tickets anywhere in the continental US and a free 7 night cruise for two. Neither one of them turned out to be true and they wasted our time! In order to get the cruise you have to pay $250 pp in port, gov fees, send them $100 for a registration fee and then pay $99 per person as an additional fee. In order to get the airline tickets you have to send them a $50 registration fee, which by the way when we went to claim them they were conveniently out of them and asked if they can mail them to us. I have done my research and there are many complaints on the review board in which people send in there money and then do not receive the vouchers. I am going to be smart and chalk this all up to a big
waste of our time! I am hoping that others will read this before deciding to attend this rip off of a presentation!

  • you have to pay port taxes whether you go directly to a cruise line and buy them retail or get them as a gift. Taxes are never included as a part of your gift even if you win a car on TV show or cash on lottery. That was disclosed to you before you made appointment to come to the show. The terms and conditions of the cruise voucher clearly state you are responsible for port taxes/registration fees. As to the airline voucher registration fees/airport taxes are also your responsibility as stated in terms and condition. Where is the scam?? They even paid for your $15 parking on the beach and gave you $25 restaurant voucher, no purchase was required. You are claiming $15 for what? your gas to get there? You sound like one of those miserable couples who clips 25c Publix/Walgreens coupons and post a negative internet story if they ran out of merchandise. $50 registration fee is rather a small price for a pair of RT tickets to say Las Vegas or whatever, go check the retail airline prices and see. If you pay with CC for your reg fee then visa mc or amex guarantees that or your money back, all you have to do is file merchant complaint. Where is all this big scam you referring to because I went to the show myself, had good time on the beach, ate at soprano's for free and got my vouchers as well, I see no reason to complain about anything at all.
