Received a call from 404-462-8202 (Cash Advance America...so they said) saying that my loan for $500 was approved and that all I would need to do is purchase a green dot card from my local cvs, and put $59 on it to prove that I could make the first loan payment. I did that and was then told that it should take 15 min for the money to go into my account, which didn't happen. They then said that the money was frozen because i had a tax hold on my account and that I had to go purchase another green dot card for $52 to pay this off and that it would all be reimbursed to me. Stupid me did this too. I was not surprised to find the money still not in my account after this, so I called back again. They told me that they could send it through western union, but that I would have to pay the fees, which i certainly wasn't doing at this point. There last option was that they could send me a check for the full amount, which I agreed to , but of course I never received.
