Was called, informed that I was approved for a long term personal loan for 8,000 dollars and I just needed to prove that I would be able to pay the monthly payment. I was instructed to get a vanilla one visa prepaid card for the amount. I proceeded to get 400 dollars loaded onto the card. Then, the man offering me the loan informed me that the FTC had red flagged my social security number and I needed more money to remove the flag. I then got the additional 100 dollars he asked for. I have yet to receive the loan that was promised, and the prepaid cards I loaded are empty
