I vacated this apartment on 5 Aug 2012 and moved to a different state. I had paid a security deposit of $1200. When I vacated the apartment, the manager inspected the apartment and informed to deduct $280 for cleaning, carpet cleaning and one touch painting).
They sent me a check after 4 months for $287.70. They have sent me a balance sheet showing incorrect rent calculations for $177.30 and other repair charges for the remaining amount (around $735) that was not agreed earlier.
I have called them at least 50 times without a return call till date.
Even though I don't have any proof for $735, I have proof to prove $177.30 is due to incorrect rent calculations.
