Got a phone number from a supposed Dell Computer site advertised as a "Help" number. I called it and got this Indian (as in Hindu) who proceeded to tell me these horror stories about the multiple Trojan viruses on my Dell. He told me that his company worked for Dell and... to make a long story short, conned my dumb a-- into paying him (by Cr Card, thank goodness) $200. After the deal was over I started researching the outfit (Albion Global) and found the internet full of scam reports including a beauty from a BBB! I stopped the payment hours after this happened. The big inconvenience was changing all my passwords. Learn from my stupid close call!
