Ordered the free trial and paid the postage on 5th October. Nothing happened until 19th October when £55 was taken from my account, and a card from the post office dropped through the door telling me a package had arrived which had £26 owing in customs charges. It turns out that Juveneu have valued the "free" sample at £144 on the customs form, and there's a big box of similar packages sat in the post office (so many that the PO guy thought it must be some kind of scam). By my reckoning, the 19th is the 14th day of the trial, so a day early for the charge, but more importantly, I haven't had a free trial of anything (except my patience)...they MUST know it wasn't going to arrive in time, and there was no hint that it would accrue customs duty. Oh, and I'm sure the terms and conditions have changed since the order, as I was expecting a free sample, not product on approval.
They're either shysters or dumb idiots...

Update: 10/21/2011

Just to add, my bank have now reversed the payment, so I'm only a couple of quid out of pocket... you live and learn, I guess!
