This company is set up to scam out-of-state customers. They sell perfume oil on the website: www.paradisefragrances.com. Paradise Fragrances Mfg. 1317 West North Ave. Baltimore, Maryland 21217 USA. 1-410-728-3690
I sent them a money order as requested by signature confirmation but they refused to sign for it. When I call they said they didn't trust the government and that I should resend the money order by delivery confirmation only. (If no one signed for it, no one would have to be responsible for it) So, I resent the $90 money order and my delivery confirmation showed they received it on 9-15-2011. I called every week until 10-20-2011 to check on it but they said they never received the order, but the post office shows they did indeed receive it. I lost my money order receipt they claim they dont keep records of the customers once they ship the package. (Well, how do they keep records for the IRS?) They charge you for postage through the UPS man when he arrives, but you never know because they don't send tracking numbers when they send your order, so they say.
I live out of state, so they think they can give me the runarounds, but I'm going to pursue this matter until the authorities put a stop to their scam. It's the principle of the thing.

It took months and I finally received a sample from them. I figured I try that first before proceeding with sending money.
You would think they were legitimate because they keep expanding their product line. Someone has to be successfully purchasing from them, but it hard to find reviews.
I called them on yesterday, and sent an email today. After reading your response, I considering if it is even worth the savings. The BBB doesn't have them rated highly either.
I was also quite impressed with the oil cotton ball they sent. The smell lasted a long time. Granted, I wasn't able to try it on the body as it came on a soaked cotton ball.
I sure wished you hadn't lost your receipt. -

- I was really hoping to order from this wholesaler, I just got into the body oil business. I was a little skeptical to order from them because there website screams unprofessionalism. Usually when i see a website that looks like its been done in the 90's I am usually turn off by it. There 13 dollar a lb for top notch fragrances seemed to great to be true. All over the net lbs started at 24 and up. Some websites even have it if you buy multiple pounds you can get it for as low as 19.95 but thats the lowest i've seen it. I would have loved for this company to have been legit because i definitely need that edge, but ill have to settle for 19.95 a lb. Thanks Scambook, for investigating. Even if they truly sold lbs for $13 dollars and some change (which i seriously doubt), There response to scam book truly sent off red flags and screams guilty party. Thanks again.
