This has been going on for over a year. I signed up with Citygrid with the understanding that if I didn't like the service, I could cancel and receive all but 100.00 back. The first thing they did was get my information wrong. The second was they directed traffic to a page on THEIR site and said from there it went to my site, I never showed any traffic from them. I told them I wanted to cancel and get two hundred of my three hundred dollars back. They told me that they would refund and asked if I would do it for just one more month t give it a chance, that they would do that month for free. I agreed and asked that they refund the two hundred right away and we would go from there. I never saw the two hundred though their sales rep told me that it was processing through bookkeeping and he couldn't imagine what was taking so long. After that month and no business from them, I asked that they cancel my account and get the refund back to me. The sales rep assured me that would happen. Two months went by with no returned phone calls, then I got a charge on my account from them for 3.00 and I called multiple times, leaving a message asking what it was for, with no response. Then I got a charge on my account for three hundred dollars the next month. You can imagine I was pretty upset. From then on it became a real battle. I had to cancel my bank card in order to disallow access to my account. I went back and forth with them for months not getting calls or getting people that had no clue what I was talking about. They just kept saying I owed them money and my saying I didn't. I got a collection letter from them today and in order to keep my credit on my company in good shape I agreed to pay 214.00 plus 8.00 service charges. I told them I didn't owe it but would pay it under duress in order to keep my credit good for my company. I want to take these people to court in a class action suit involving as many people as possible that they did this to (which is a LOT). I got only lightly stung by them, many people got hit for thousands. I would love to see these people get their money back from this entity.
