I tried out a couple dating site this past spring (April) and cancelled them the first month because I became aware of the scams involved. It's almost November, and they are still promoting my profile, as if I was still a member! SIX MONTHS LATER?!
I get e-mails every day (in my SPAM folder) that are FLING-related, and I think it's wrong for them to use old files to lure new people in, paying good money in hopes of finding someone special.
They've also sold my information to other dating sites, contrary to their own privacy statement.

How did you know your profile was sold to other dating sites?
Did you see your profile or someone you know saw it? I feel like I might be in the same boat. but not fling, a different dating site! -
