I applied for a free trial of a weight loss product and the website asked for $4.99 for shipping. The product was shipped and upon receiving the package I saw a bill for the amount of $148.96. While checking my credit card statement about 2 weeks later I realized that I was charged $148.96. I contacted the company and told them that I never made any purchase or authorized any payment of the said amount. They informed me that according to the terms and conditions that I agreed to make a payment after keeping the product for more than 10 days. Upon signing up for the free trial, there were no terms and conditions being "agreed" to. The company told me that as long as I returned the product that i would receive a full refund. The product was returned and after several calls to the company I was advised that they received the product and that I was supposed to received my refund within 5-7 working days. A month passed and no refund. I again called, was also told that they are seeing the product as being returned based on the RMA# which they assigned to me. Was given a refund code on 17.10.13, was then told that I would have my refund withing 3-5 working days, to date no refund.
