A representative called my cell phone and tried to convince me to publish my professional sketch in the Top 100 ... magazine. I remembered I had visited something like that on-line a few days before and must have left my phone # there. He offered platinum membership for a one time fee of $8+. I agreed and he asked for my credit card #, which I stupidly gave him. The transaction didn't go through, though, and he asked me for another card #. I gave him another card # and again the transaction was blocked. It was my credit company that did. There have been multiple attempts for them to charge $875 + $8.75 off my card but I quickly called my credit company and canceled my cards.
