I have been out of work since July of 2013 and have a family of six so I have been desperately searching for work. Choice One Service Inc contacted me stating they had received my resume and would like to offer me a position as a Financial Service Agent. They had a very sophisticated to website including current projects the company was working on a list of partners and links to their sites. They even had management bios. They had a list of benefits and talked about their probationary period I even had a friend who is extremely business savvy check out all of the info I was sent and he didn't see a threat. I called New York stated better business bureau to see if any complaints had been filed on this company (their where none). This company portrayed themselves as a facilitator of companies in need of outsourcing and my job as a Financial Service Agent would be to process payments from the company in need to the free lance agent or company who would do the work. I was given access to a "task manager portal" which contained a tab to communicate with my supervisor. My pay information and many other things related to this supposed position. This company stated they provided a monthly salary plus 8% commission for each task completed. It took almost two weeks before i received my first task. The supervisor explained that they delay was due to the fact that senior employees would receive preference on tasks. Well I got my first task yesterday the "client" deposited a large sum of money into my account and then I was to send smaller amounts to 3 different "contractors" in the Ukraine. I completed this task yesterday and today my account is frozen pending investigation. I feel horrible and very stupid for falling for this! I hope this posting will help future people from falling for this scam. It is devastating especially because those targeted are people who are desperate for work and income.
