Bought my mum GHD hair straighteners for Christmas. She started using them in January and said they kept making a beeping noise, and although they heated up, she felt that they werent straightening her hair any better than her previous, cheaper, straighteners. She isn't big on hair straighteners and only uses them periodically so over the weekend she went to use them only to notice they have stopped working so, as you get a years guarantee with electrical products, I looked out my receipt and bank statement to look up the company to contact them to enquire about sending them back and refunding my money - however when I typed the company name into Google it is no longer avaialble and all the links with the company name send me to this website (scambook.com).
