I received Harassing phone calls on my job from Cash Advance America which started on October 17,2013. They claim I owed a $300.00 loan, with additional fees of $200.00. I took the initial call and offered my cell phone number to talk with someone after I got off from work. About 10 mintues after speaking with someone they continued to call at least 25 additional times on my job phone within a 30 mintue time span. I waited until all the students were dismissed from school and I called them back on my cell phone. I explained to the Supervisor who claims to be a Dexter Scott that I worked at a school with small kids and it was a safety issue in case we had an emergency with his company blocking up all the lines . I agreed to talk with him after 4:00p.m. my time. He call exactly at that time and 12 more times
consistantly after that. When I realized my phone was not ringing it was after 9:00 p.m. still on silence from being at work earlier. Around 11:00a.m.the folowing day I decided to call and speak with Mr.Scott to resolve any debt issue I may have had with this company. I asked him if he could send me information in the mail because I was not willing to give any card or bank information over the phone. He became angry and hostile and hung up on me. About 10 minutes later the secretary and someone from the school board told me that this company had been calling since 8:00a.m. non stop. The secretary called the help line at the school board to see how they could block the calls. Mr. Charles was sent to try and resolve our phone issue. Mr. Charles warned Mr. Scott that they were calling a school and blocking up the phone lines and in case of emergencies it was a safety issue he could call me on my cell phone and Mr. Scott said he did not care and he would continue to call everyday Monday-Friday from 8a.m. until 5p.m.. Mr, Charles then asked if he allowed him to speak to me would he stop calling, Mr. Scott said yes. Mr. Charles gave me the telephone and I said Hello. Mr. Scott then said I had agreed to pay him yesterday, I told him I did not have that conversation with him again he hung up on me. I was told I had to call and make a police report before the telephone company would do anything about these harassing calls, which I did I also filed a report with the Consumer Finance Bureau, He continued to call at least up to 700 times therafter
